The completeness
of the silence
was very nearly
tangible.
I walked in the sun,
heard nothing,
and became overwhelmed
by the beauty of it.
In the quiet,
things I left in pieces
became whole,
shining in the splendor of their
worth.
For a moment,
I was stunned.
Then on I strolled,
smiling
and wondering what other
magical
things
this delectable silence
was hiding.
